Job & Business Academy

Queens Library’s Job & Business Academy provides specialized training and learning opportunities, with an emphasis on technology training, to job seekers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and business owners. By combining the Job & Business Academy’s individual counseling, in-person workshops, and online learning opportunities with complementary services provided by the library’s Adult Learner Program and New Americans Program, Queens residents participating in training will become better prepared for the modern workforce.

Job & Business Academy Locations

To participate in JBA services, you must register online via JobMap.You can register on your own online or you can go to any JBA location to get in-person assistance with our registration process. 

The Job & Business Academy also offers financial counseling by appointment only, on Wednesdays at the Central Library.
