PEARLS by Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Do you know of a senior who seems sad all the time, lost interest in things they used to love, or is having trouble sleeping or loss of appetite? Feeling sad or blue from time to time is normal, but it should fade away after a few days. The Visiting Nurse Services of New York offers free screenings for participation in their new program called PEARLS. You must be 65 or older and live in Queens or Manhattan.
