Queens Museum Presents "Rodin in Your Backyard" with Artist Jia-Jen Lin (in Chinese)

This eight-week sculpture workshop in Mandarin Chinese will teach the making and casting of molds through two projects: the casting of an everyday object and the re-creation of a body part. Students will learn how to handle clay and plaster and explore sensory experiences through modeling and sculpting. Art appreciation, hands-on practice and group presentations will provide students an understanding of the art of sculpture. Follow-up sessions will be held at the Queens Museum.
