Description:

Offers free and confidential legal services to immigrants who are unable to afford private legal counsel. Serves immigrants living in the five boroughs of NYC and nine surrounding counties. Assistance is offered in the following areas: applications for permanent residency; naturalization and citizenship applications; relative petitions; applications for employment authorization; applications for asylum; self-petitioning and waivers for battered spouses of citizens and permanent residents; replacement of lost immigration documents; representation in deportation and exclusion proceedings; government benefits advocacy.
