EMPLOYMENT TRAINING FOR HOTEL INDUSTRY Offers a free 20-week course in the hotel industry and job placement assistance upon completion of the course. Permanent residency or citizenship and low income required for eligibility. Admissions test and interview. Requires social security card, proof of residency/citizenship, 1040 tax return, proof of address. SERVICE TO ASIAN PARENTS OF DISABLED CHILDREN Provides family member training for Asian families with a developmentally disabled family member. Interpreting (Mandarin/Cantonese) is provided as necessary for families dealing with public agencies. Information and referral, case management, and occasional recreation are provided. They also accept persons with mental illness if no other service is available for Asian persons. Requires diagnosis by school special educator, psychologist or psychiatrist for eligibility. DAY CARE PROGRAM Services include after-school day care and summer all-day day care. Requirements: first grade and above, and low-income. 1040 tax return required. ACD vouchers accepted. SUMMER CAMP An eight-week summer camp program is offered. Private pay.
