AFTERSCHOOL K-Grade 2: Homework assistance, reading and writing; special focus on phonics and vocabulary enhancements. Grades 3-5: Homework assistance, reading and writing; special focus on grammar, paragraph development. PROJECT CITY (Community Involvement Through the YWCA) Funded by the Department of Youth and Community Development, this program is designed to teach job skills while fulfilling community service credits at schools for high school students. ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE Free beginning and intermediate classes in English as a Second Language are offered to all immigrants. EVERGREEN ELDERLY SCHOOL A program to help senior citizens adjust to immigrant life. Students learn conversational English, American history, culture and law. Citizenship preparation, aerobics and music are also offered. CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION PROCESSING AND FOLLOW-UP SERVICES Assistance is provided in filing N-400 (Application for Naturalization). Necessary documents for application submissions are: Green card, passport, 2 citizenship pictures, and application fees. Application assistance is by appointment only.
