The Theresa Lang Children's Ambulatory Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides pediatric specialty care in various specialties including surgery, cardiology, orthopaedics, neurology, pulmonology, and care for high-risk newborns, as well as routine primary and follow-up care. This center is also home of Fit Kids Queens: A Healthy Lifestyle Program for Overweight and Obese Children.
This facility is staffed by pediatricians who provide complete medical care beginning at birth and continuing through age 21. The friendly and accessible center, which offers appointments and walk-in urgent care, receives more than 25,000 patient visits each year. In addition, the center’s child-friendly décor provides a relaxing and comfortable setting, and staff members strive to make waiting times as short as possible. In 2012, Splashes of Hope created new murals throughout the center, further brightening the space. The center is a division of New York Hospital-Queens.
