Description:The Community Resource Database of Long Island is an online directory of health, human service, and education agencies and programs on Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk counties). It includes over 11,000 records for services for children, teens, adults, families, and seniors.
Records are included for many different kinds of programs, such as: health services; counseling & substance abuse services; support groups; child care and elder care; education and training programs; food and emergency services; parenting education; housing assistance; disability services; literacy and GED classes; family violence services; financial management assistance; hotlines; volunteer opportunities; houses of worship; schools; camps and youth services; libraries; chambers of commerce & civic and other community organizations.
