Description:

This organization is dedicated to educating and assisting families within New York that has a child with a developmental disability.

NYFAC, has developed and instituted a wide variety of programs and services. NYFAC is recognized as a leader world-wide in the development of training materials for professionals working with children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Support groups are available in addition to parent training workshops and referrals to programs such as respite care and Reshab, which help children with homework and recreational activities.

Currently, volunteers can be accepted for community service.

Hours:

Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm

Fees/Methods of Payment:Most services free; annual fee allows you to attend workshops.
