Description:ARROW is a community based volunteer run organization, dedicated to improving the environment of its Western Queens neighborhood. Its mission is to provide environmental education and action; promote community involvement; build coalitions among local community based organizations; and encouraging individual stewardship of the neighborhood and the local environment. Among the services ARROW provides are a community garden, computer classes for adults & seniors, recycling, clean-ups, gardening and educational, artistic and recreational programs.

There is also a Computer Resource Center (CRC) for all ages with free computer access and education. A city funded CRC usually has classes and specialized workshops, high-speed Internet access and industry-standard professional and educational software. Centers also have afterschool programs and RECYouth, which trains both afterschool youth and teens in digital video and audio production through hands-on exposure to technology and arts instruction.
