Description:Solace works with survivors of state-sponsored torture, political torture and war trauma who are refugees, asylees, asylum seekers, and Americans tortured abroad or in the U.S. Solace uses a community-based decentralized approach that includes case management counseling as well as ongoing support through community development efforts. Each year Solace provides support to over 200 survivors, their families and communities. Also have office in the Bronx (718-933-1000 ext. 39) and Staten Island (718-720-2591 ext. 20).

Eligibility Requirements:Must be refugee, aslyum seeker or asylee; does not have to be documented to receive services.
