Description:Volunteers of America iservices include: sheltering homeless individuals and families until permanent housing can be found, preparing pre-parolees for reintegration into the community, helping adults with developmental disabilities realize their full potential, teaching preschool children with special needs, creating a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence, providing stability for severely troubled youth, supporting people and families living with AIDS, and offering treatment and recovery services to substance abusers.
