Description:Fedcap is one of the largest providers of vocational services to individuals in New York State through the Office of Vocational and Educational Services for individuals with disabilities. It is also one of the three largest employers in the nation with federal set-aside contracts to employ people with disabilities under JWOD program. Services and programs include: Vocational Evaluation, Vocational Training, the Career Design School, job placement, Welfare-to-Work, Fedcap Custodial, Fedcap Home Care, Fedcap industrial, Fedcap Offices Services, Fedcap Security Services and more.
Hours:Monday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday-Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm; Additional Facility: Monday-Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm
Eligibility Requirements:We serve primarily adults with disabilities and disadvantages.
Admission Requirements/Documents:Primarily by referral from VESID, CBVH, VA, HRA and others.
Fees/Methods of Payment:ESID, CBVH, VA, self-pay; Chelton Loft: Free of charge.
Access for People with Disabilities:Wheel chair ramp at entrance; wheel chair ramp(s) internally; multiple floors; extra wide doors; arrangement of furniture, displays & equipment for people with disabilities; accessible restroom facilities; elevators; elevator control buttons; lowered telephones; TTY; flashing emergency lights.
