The Hillside Geriatric Center provides an array of mental health programs for older adults. Patients seen at the center include those with psychiatric disorders such as major depression or anxiety diagnoses; adjustment reactions to life stressors; memory disorders and dementing conditions such as Alzheimers's disease or vascular dementia; and psychological and/or emotional disturbances associated with medical illnesses. The Center also has a Support Group-Caregiver's for Dementia Loved Ones. It is free of charge and has no age restrictions.
Mon - Fri, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m..
Must be at least 65 years of age.
Fees/Methods of Payment:Medicare Assignment; Meidcare Co-pay; Medicaid; Private Insurance; Sliding-scale Fees; All Government Programs.
Access for People with Disabilities:Wheel chair ramp at entrance; wheel chair ramp(s) internally; single floor; extra wide doors; doors that open in both diretions; arrangement of displays...for handicapped; special restroom facilities; grab bars in restrooms.
