Description:

The HRA Infoline is a central access point to social service information. The operators guide people by telling them which office to go to, outlining how to apply for help, and noting basic eligibility requirements. They answer questions concerning a wide variety of needs and services, including: Food Stamps, day care & Head Start, child support payments, AIDS services, heat & utility shutoffs, emergency cash assistance, domestic abuse, eviction prevention, Medicaid, and homeless shelters, and others. It also provides mailings of applications and printed information.

Automated system available 24 hours/7 days a week; Mon.-Fri., 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
