Description:"Outreach centers are ambulatory, community based centers for youngsters ages 12-21 years with substance abuse problems. teens attend a structured program six days a week, which combines school and clinical activities. Young adults capable of going to school full time may attend the after school program for intervention and support. Also available are the full resources of daytop including the Diagnostic Center and Short and Long term residential programs for adolescents." additional services include information and referrals as a resource for the community, family therapy, and Daytop Family Association meetings for anyone whose loved ones are affected by the problem of substance abuse.
Hours:Monday-Friday: 9:00am-9:00pm, Saturday: 9:00am-3:00pm
Eligibility Requirements:Youth aged 13 to 21 years with substance abuse problems.
Admission Requirements/Documents:Birth certificate, social security card, proof of address, proof of financial status, immunization records, school records.
Fees/Methods of Payment:sliding scale fees; Insurance, private payment and Medicaid are accepted as payment for service. No one will be turned away because of inability to pay.
