Description:Camping programs include: Nursery Day Camp, for little ones from 3 to 5 years of age; Pioneer Day Camp, for youngsters in K through 4th grades; Pioneer Adventures, a day camp for children entering the 4th or 5th grades; Teen Trailways, a day camp for teenagers in 6th through 9th grades; Counselor-in-Training Program, for mature teenagers entering 10th grade in Sept.; Camp Edward Isaacs, a sleep-away camp for boys and girls from 7 to 16 years of age; Sleepaway Y Day Camp Combination; Summer of Arts and Sports () (3-6th grade) ; All camps offer a focus on Jewish content and culture.
Hours:YM-YWHA hours: Sun 8:00 am - 6:45 pm; Mon - Thurs: 9:00 am - 9:45 pm; Fri: in spring, summer and early fall: 9:00 am - 4:45 pm
Eligibility Requirements:Children and teenagers
Admission Requirements/Documents:2 copies of a notarized up-to-date medical form and emergency authorization form. Personal interview maybe required.
Fees/Methods of Payment:call for fees. There are a limited number of camp scholarships, based on financial need.
Access for People with Disabilities:"There is a graduated access ramp in the rear of the Y building (67th Ave. side). Its door is open until 5 PM daily. For access after 5 PM, please ring the doorbell at the entrance to the ramp. The elevator and all women's and men's rooms are accessible to people with physical challenges."
