Description:Since 1973, CQY has provided a wide array of social, educational and cultural programs serving individuals across their life span, relocating into our current building in 1981. They now serve 15,000 people of all ages annually through after-school and summer camps for children; early childhood education; a parenting center; educational and employment services for young adults; a senior center; an immigrant service center that provides employment programs, a food pantry, English as a Second Language courses and case assistance; and health and fitness services for all ages, including sports leagues and various athletic and recreational programs. In addition to programming at our headquarters, located in the diverse and immigrant-populated area of Forest Hills, CQY also operates off-site programs at schools and community centers in Flushing, Jamaica, Rego Park, and Astoria


Hours:Sun, 8 am - 6:45 pm; Mon - Thurs, 9:00 am - 9:45 pm; Fri, in spring, summer, and early fall: 9 -5; late fall.
Eligibility Requirements:No restrictions.
Admission Requirements/Documents:Please call for updated information. Prospective members must present certain documents at the time of registration as proof of their membership category. For family membership: provide birth certificates for all children. Married couples must present their marriage certificate. Single-parent families must document their status. Senior adults and teens provide proof of age. Out-of-town college students must present their college ID card.
Fees/Methods of Payment:Annual fees from $130 to $800. Private pay accepted.
Access for People with Disabilities:"There is a graduated access ramp in the rear of the Y building (67th Ave. side). Its door is open until 5 PM daily. For access after 5 PM, please ring the doorbell at the entrance to the ramp. The elevator and all women's and men's rooms are accessible to people with physical challenges."
