Description:The CDC National Prevention Information Network develops,indentifies and collects information on the prevention, treatment, and control of HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and tuberculosis (TB) and makes this information available to health care providers, patients, grassroots community organizations, and organizations working in prevention, research and support services. The Network also provides reference and referrals to public and private resources; offers access to online databases and distributes publications about HIV/AIDS, STDs and TB.
