Description: This legal service agency assists in cases dealing with issues such as housing, government benefits, elder law, consumer law, family law, and education law.

It also has a special unit for HIV/AIDS cases, a Disaster Relief Center for those affected by the World Trade Center attacks, and a People's Law School, which has a speaker's bureau and trains persons on legal issues to assist others. Services are available in non-English languages (provided by a language bank).

Eligibility Requirements:Must be income-eligible according to Legal Services Corp.
