Description:This agency helps with questions about tenant rights and also helps organize and assist tenant associations.
Maintains a website with information about tenants rights and housing laws. Individual tenants can get advice from Met Council or learn about Tenants’ rights hotline (212-979-0611) is available Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Weekly radio show, Housing Notebook, on WBAI · 99.5 FM or (http://www.wbai.org), on Mondays from 8 to 9 p.m. Weekly walk-in clinic, Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m., at 61 East 4th Street (closed during August). For help organizing a tenant association, call 212-979-6238.

Eligibility Requirements:Tenants in New York City. Try to provide information to anybody.
