Description:New Challenges Community Center is an evening and weekend psychosocial club for mentally ill adults. In addition to socialization opportunities, the club program design also provides A.D.L., prevocational, psycho-educational groups, and community service activities to promote growth and functional enhancement.
Hours:Mon.-Fri. 9 am - 5pm; Sat & Sun. 9 am - 6 pm.
Eligibility Requirements:Must be 18 years or older. Must have psychiatric history. If substance abuse history, member must be in treatment for three months prior to admission. Continued involvement in treatment expected after admission.
Admission Requirements/Documents:Psychosocial, psychiatric evaluation, current physical.
Fees/Methods of Payment:Free. Medicaid, private insurance.
Access for People with Disabilities:Wheelchair accessible.
