Description:

The mission of God's Love We Deliver is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 6:00pm-8:00pm, Sunday: 10:00am-5:00pm

Eligibility Requirements:

Homebound persons living with AIDS throughout New York City and Hudson County, NJ, are eligible. Symptomatic and asymptomatic HIV+ persons are eligible for nutrition counseling and education.

Admission Requirements/Documents:

One 15-minute phone interview with client or caregiver / Client Services must receive confirmation of the new client's AIDS diagnosis medical provider within the two weeks of their first meal delivery.

Fees/Methods of Payment:Free
Access for People with Disabilities:Wheelchair ramp at entrance; multiple floors; extra-wide doors; special restroom facilities; grab bars in restrooms; special elevators; flashing emergency lights.
