Description:Sunnyside Community Services, a multiservice agency, is one of New York City's 37 settlement houses. Some services for seniors include: volunteer programs, varied social activities, meals-on-wheels, information and referral; an intergenerational program; and services for the homebound. There is an after-school program for children grades 1 through 8. Call the main facility for teen evening programs that meet Monday-Thursdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at an additional facility, including SAT preparation, family and teen counseling, and tutoring for Regents tests.
Hours:After School Program: Mon - Fri, College Preparation 4 am - 7 pm, Mon -Sat.; Seniors: Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5pm; Sun 12 pm - 4 pm.
Eligibility Requirements:Age appropriate for activity.

Fees/Methods of Payment:Medicare assignment; Medicare co-pay; Medicaid; private insurance; private pay.
Access for People with Disabilities:Wheelchair ramps at entrance and internally; multiple floors; arrangement of furniture, displays & equipment for handicapped; special restroom facilities; grab bars in restrooms; special elevators; special elevator control buttons.
