Services include hearing tests for people of all ages, from infants to senior citizens, including the difficult to test, such as newborn infants, multi-handicapped adults and people of advanced age; auditory brainstem response testing; ear, nose and throat (ENT) examination and medical treatment by a physician; complete speech and language evaluations; therapy for people with speech, language fluency and voice disorders; assistive listening devices; hearing aids--customized selection and fit; speechreading courses; on-site hearing tests at your school, industrial plant or office, nursing home, club or organization; and community education and outreach. Audiology staff use the Mobile Outreach Van to conduct hearing tests at community organizations and at industrial work sites.

Eligibility Requirements:

Persons of all ages with communication disorders are eligible.

Admission Requirements/Documents:

Client or client's physician may call the Center. Speech clients must have had a speech and language evaluation done (at Lexington or elsewhere) before receiving therapy. Audiology clients must have medical clearance from their physician.Call for an appointment.
