Description:The Hetrick-Martin Institute is a not-for-profit social service, education, and advocacy organization dedicated to meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, and bisexual youth, homeless adolescents, and all youth who are coming to terms with issues of sexuality. Services include individual, group, and family counseling; an after-school Drop-In Center; the Harvey Milk High School; training on issues of homosexuality and HIV/AIDS to youth and professionals; peer educator training; Project First Step for homeless youth; and a comprehensive volunteer program. 24-hour suicide hotline 1-866-488-7386 and 1-800-543-3638
