Description:The mission of the Queensbridge/Riis Senior Center is to assist in the maintenance of physical, psychological and social welfare for senior citizens 60 years and above, by providing recreational and social activities, hot meals, trips, educational workshops, referrals, counseling and advocacy, transportation and case assistance.
Hours:Weekdays 8:00 am- 3:00 pm.
Eligibility Requirements:Age 60 and older.
Admission Requirements/Documents:Proof of age, the name of the above primary physician, the list of the medications that they take.
Fees/Methods of Payment:Free, but donations requested for meals: .50 for breakfast; $1.00 for lunch.
Services Offered:Case / Care Management, Computer Classes, Meals, Recreational / Leisure / Arts Instruction, Recreational Activities, Recreational Facilities, Senior Centers, Specialized Information and Referral,
