Description:The Switchboard is an all-gay and lesbian, all-volunteer, peer counseling and information and referral service. All calls are free and confidential. This is a part of the Gay and Lesbian National Hotline. Operators deal with AIDS information and education. The Switchboard gives referrals to political, religious,sports, professional organizations. The Switchboard also has information on gay-friendly businesses, restaurants, hotels, clubs, doctors, lawyers and therapists.
