Description:

The Rockaway Mental Health Clinic provides psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological therapy, as well as individual, group, family therapy, crisis intervention, medication management, case management and collateral sessions.  We are a community-based clinic which offers a professional and welcoming environment for both clients and staff.  All potential clients are seen for an initial intake assessment and mental status exam: these sessions culminate in a comprehensive psychosocial assessment and DSM diagnosis.  The client specific course of treatment is reflected in an individual treatment plan.  Clients formulate their treatment plan in conjunction with a therapist.  This collaborative approach to treatment assures that client-specific issues are addressed throughout the course of treatment.  Treatment plans are updated and revised continuously, to assess client progress and address specific client goals and issues.

Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; Thurs: 9:00 am - 8:00 pm

Eligibility Requirements:

Age 5 years and over living on the Rockaway Peninsula and Broad Channel.

Fees/Methods of Payment:Sliding-scale fees; Medicare co-pay; Medicaid; private insurance; and private pay accepted.
