Description:
The Commission provides, purchases, and/or coordinates the following services for legally blind New York State residents: consultation, advocacy and referral services for children in the areas of education, transitional planning, summer recreation, and community resources; aid in social adjustment and daily living skills for older adults; vocational rehabilitation; independent living programs; business enterprise program for vendors operating on federal property; benefits counseling; and an equipment loan fund.

Mon.-Fri., 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally blind and a resident of New York State.
Fees/Methods of Payment:Free.
