Description:

The Jamaica Service Program for Older Adults is a community-based agency in Southeast Queens that provides a comprehensive range of services to the elderly to help them remain as active members in the community. Services include 5 senior centers; home care/housekeeping services; crime victim assistance/elder abuse; advocacy; senior employment; programs for the visually handicapped; transportation; health monitoring; meals on wheels; Lifeline ALERT (Emergency Response Unit); and coordination of task forces.

Mon - Fri 8:30 - 5.

Eligibility Requirements:

Senior citizens aged 60 and over are eligible for social services.

Admission Requirements/Documents:

Interview registration.
