Description:
Provides vocational rehabilitation services to eligible individuals to prepare them for suitable jobs. Vocational assessment; physical and/or psychological examinations; guidance, counseling and referral; vocational counseling and career planning; short-term medical intervention; skills training; transition services; driver evaluation and training; homemaker evaluation and training; special transportation, maintenance expenses, attendants, note-takers, interpreters, readers' aides; supported employment; books, tools and equipment needed for training or employment; rehabilitation technology; telecommunications aids and adaptive devices; assistance with costs of workplace, vehicle and home modifications; training in job-seeking skills; occupational licenses, tools, initial stock and supplies for small business; job placement services; follow-up services; referrals to independent living services; assistance in working with social service agencies.

Eligibility Requirements:
Mental, physical or learning disability interfering with working, and need for vocational rehabilitation services.
