INFORMATION AND REFERRAL Referral to youth programs, immigrant services, employment services, senior citizens programs, support services for women and other human services. COMMUNITY ACTION INTERNSHIPS FOR YOUTH Stipended internships in non-profit agencies for high school youth. Newsletter. Leadership, cross-cultural awareness and conflict-mediation training. ASSISTANCE FOR CITIZENSHIP APPLICANTS Community workshops. Free legal consultations and referrals to non-profit legal services. Preparation for INS oral exam. Direct assistance in completing N-400 Citizenship Application Form. COMMUNITY ORGANIZING Town Meetings held in neighborhoods throughout New York's five boroughs to provide a forum for Filipino American concerns. Community Action Alliance, a council of Filipino American representatives from neighborhoods throughout NYC formed to advocate Filipino American issues and to create collaboration within the community. Summer internship offered to college-aged Filipino Americans interested in community organizing and activism.
