Description:
The HIV/LGBT Advocacy Project provides confidential legal services for low-income lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and people impacted by HIV in our communities. With our clients, we advocate for comprehensive access to justice in areas such as discrimination, housing, government benefits and family law. Translation & Interpreter services are available for languages other than English.

Hotline hours: M-F 10-4.
Eligibility Requirements:
Basic income eligibility guidelines are 125% of the federal poverty level -- currently $26,500 a year for a family of 4. But we can often go considerably above that depending on the type of case. To check on your eligibility or for more information on getting help, call our central number, 347-592-2200. QLS provides legal advice and representation to thousands of people every year, but, resources are limited so QLS cannot guarantee that we can help every eligible person.
