Description:
The QLS Domestic Violence Law & Advocacy Project provides free legal representation and social support services for victims of domestic violence and their families. Services include:
• 24 Hour Hotline
• Counseling & Crisis Intervention
• Information & Referrals
• Legal Representation
• Educational Workshops
Translation & Interpreter services are available for languages other than English.
Hours:
Hotline: 24 hours/ 7 days a week.
Eligibility Requirements:
Basic income eligibility guidelines are 125% of the federal poverty level -- currently $26,500 a year for a family of 4. But we can often go considerably above that depending on the type of case. To check on your eligibility or for more information on getting help, call our central number, 347-592-2200. QLS provides legal advice and representation to thousands of people every year, but, resources are limited so QLS cannot guarantee that we can help every eligible person.
