1-800-LIFENET is the free, confidential referral service for emotional and substance abuse problems. When you call, an experienced referral specialist will listen to the problem and assess the situation. You will then be provided with information and a recommended referral in your area if needed. All calls are kept strictly confidential.
1-800-LIFENET, the Mental Health Association of NYC information and referral hotline answers over 75,000 calls a year, helping New Yorkers find emotional support or mental health treatment for themselves or their loved ones, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to the dedicated hotlines for Asian Languages and Spanish speakers, interpreters are available for other languages.
