Description:

Our staff works with tenants and residential property owners to provide:

Hands-on help with housing-related problems and entitlements. We specialize in helping seniors obtain SCRIE (Senior Citizens Rent Increase Exemption) and other housing-related benefits and assistance
Organizing and technical assistance to tenants and housing co-operatives
Education on landlord-tenant issues, tenants’ rights and entitlements through presentations and workshops for the general public, tenant associations, civic groups and others
Technical assistance to community-based housing and other organizations on housing problems confronting their constituents
