Queens Community Resources Database
The Queens Community Resources Database combines two online directories. The Directory of Health & Human Services Agencies provides information on local and national agencies that provide service to the residents of Queens, such as social service organizations, support groups, day care programs, and senior citizen centers. The Directory of Immigrant-Serving Agencies contains information on agencies offering low-cost or free social services to immigrants in over 50 languages. The directory presently lists over 200 agencies, primarily those agencies offering services within Queens. However, agencies outside Queens are listed when an ethnic or language group of significant size is not specifically targeted by a Queens agency. The services of the agencies outside Queens are still accessible from Queens by telephone, mail or online communication.
For more information about any of these services, call 718-990-0894 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
