English for Non-Native Speakers

This program provides non-English speakers an opportunity to learn oral English. The instructor, Ms Tauhirah Abdussabur, is a native English speaker who has taught classes at Queens Library and facilitated English conversation groups for Queens Library Adult Learning and New York City's We Are New York language programs. Space is limited. Preregistration is required.

Reading For Fun

Reading is fundamental for success. This program will teach kids how much fun reading can be, with a great selection of books from Queens Libary at Laurelton.
This program is offered every Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m., for children up to grade 6.

AARP Defensive Driving

This is a classroom course designed for drivers age 50 and older. For AARP members the fee is $17.00; non-AARP members the fee is $19.00.
