Library Closings

Baisley Park Community Library, located at 117-11 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, is closed on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 in preparation for our upcoming project to replace the building’s air-conditioning system.

Rosedale Community Library, located at 144-20 243 Street, is closed on Friday, March 1; Saturday, March 2; and Monday, March 4 for emergency maintenance.

Tuesday, February 26, 2019 is the NYC Public Advocate Special Election, and several of our community libraries will serve as polling sites.

Queens residents will cast their votes at the Briarwood, Central, Elmhurst, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens Hills, Lefferts, Lefrak City, North Forest Park, Peninsula, Ridgewood, Seaside, St. Albans, and Woodside libraries, from 6AM to 9PM.

NYCitizenship Information Sessions

Queens Library has partnered with the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs to bring you NYCitizenship, a program to assist New Yorkers along the path to citizenship.

Attend our upcoming information sessions to learn how to apply for citizenship easily; the benefits of becoming a citizen; and how to receive financial counseling.
