Queens Library at 169-09 137th Avenue in Rochdale Village will close temporarily while the NYC Department of Design and Construction replaces the roof. The library will close at the end of business on August 2 and will re-open for public service in October. The mobile library will provided limited service every Thursday from 8:30 - 5 during the closure.
Library customers are invited to use any other Queens Library location. The closest are at 134-26 225th Street in Laurelton (24/7 self-service returns); at 191-05 Linden Boulevard in St. Albans (24/7 self-service returns) and at 128-16 Rockaway Boulevard in South Ozone Park.
