Get Out the Vote!


Tuesday, February 26, 2019 is the NYC Public Advocate Special Election, and several of our community libraries will serve as polling sites.

Queens residents will cast their votes at the Briarwood, Central, Elmhurst, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens Hills, Lefferts, Lefrak City, North Forest Park, Peninsula, Ridgewood, Seaside, St. Albans, and Woodside libraries, from 6AM to 9PM.

NYCitizenship Information Sessions


Queens Library has partnered with the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs to bring you NYCitizenship, a program to assist New Yorkers along the path to citizenship.

Attend our upcoming information sessions to learn how to apply for citizenship easily; the benefits of becoming a citizen; and how to receive financial counseling.

All Queens Library locations will be closed on Monday, February 18 for Presidents' Day.

Our Feb. 12 Broken Heart Week concert with Chloé Perrier & The French Heart Jazz Band at Central Library in Jamaica has been CANCELLED due to the weather, but we will reschedule soon! We apologize for any inconvenience.



Baisley Park Library, located at 117-11 Sutphin Boulevard in Jamaica, and Seaside Library, located at 116-15 Rockaway Beach Boulevard in Rockaway Park, are closed on Friday, February 1 for emergency maintenance.
