Spring into Movement: an Exercise Experience (in Spanish)

Get in shape for summer or just enjoy stimulating exercise. Instructors will lead classes in Zumba, yoga and tai chi. Microsoft Word (in Spanish)

Learn the basics of Microsoft Word, and how to create and save documents, work with tables, and print. Patrons should have basic computer skills, such as being able to use the keyboard and mouse and open and close applications, and are encouraged to attend all three classes. Preregistration is required in person at the Reference Desk beginning Saturday, 6/1 at 10:00AM.

Celebrate Juneteenth 2013

Celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States, with a screening of “Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom”; a musical performance of "Middle Passage Suite" by the The Neil Clarke Trio Plus; and a panel discussion about the book "By Any Means Necessary: Malcolm X, Real, Not Reinvented" with editors Herb Boyd and Dr. Ron Daniels.
