Children’s Library Discovery Center
The Children's Library Discovery Center which is now open includes hands-on interactive exhibits and learning labs to enable children ages 3-12 to find information and to inspire interest in books, reading, and learning while discovering the joy of scientific exploration.
Another new tool available for children through the library is the PowerKids Life Science database. This great resource is specifically designed for learners in grades 3 to 6, PowerKids Life Science promotes digital literacy and 21st- century learning skills while offering research, report, and homework help.
The library has two great new resources for children, just in time for the new school year. BookFlix and TrueFlix are two of our databases that help children with literacy. Check them out now!
