The Job Information Centers maintain a collection of specialized career and education resources including books, periodicals, newspapers, pamphlets, forms and catalogs. Some items may be used only in the library, others are available for borrowing.
Queens Library’s Social Sciences Division, located at the Central Library, offers customers a number of resources related to job information, including Civil Service Exam and other test preparation materials. College and Trade School directories and financial aid guides are also available.
Queens Library has seen the highest circulation of any library for more than a decade, serving a population of two million in one of the nation’s most ethnically diverse counties. Our system, consisting of sixty-two Community Libraries and a Central Library, is well recognized for its innovative advances in technology, programs and services.
