Foundation Center Cooperating Collection

Queens Library is a Cooperating Collection of The Foundation Center.  This means that we provide a core collection of Foundation Center publications, databases, supplementary materials and services that are useful to people who are seeking grants for nonprofit organizations or for themselves.

The basic reference titles include Foundation Grants to Individuals, The Foundation Directory, and the National Guides to Funding in . . . series. These books are located in the Foundation Center bookcase adjacent to the Social Sciences Desk.

There are two databases available for use in the library – Foundation Grants to Individuals which contains more than 6,200 foundations and public charities that fund students, artists, researchers, and other individual grantseekers and Foundation Center Online Professional, which is geared toward the grantseeker looking for funding for their nonprofit organization.
