Bookmobile » Welcome to the Queens Library Bookmobile

If you’ve noticed a large orange and yellow vehicle coming down your block, chances are it’s the Queens Library Bookmobile. The Bookmobile travels from location to location to fill the library needs of the public while some of the local community libraries are being renovated.

The Bookmobile is a full service library, allowing you to:

• Check out books for adults, children, and teens
• Renew books
• Return books, regardless of where you checked out the books
• Look up your account information
• Pay fines
• Check out DVDs for all ages
• Get a library card

Just like a traditional library, the Bookmobile has a librarian on board to help answer your questions. With a 1,500 item capacity, the Bookmobile materials are rotated frequently so users can always find something of interest.

BOOKMOBILE SCHEDULE

The Bookmobile travels to locations that are temporarily closed for renovation and parks close by that library. Because of the nature of mobile library service, the Bookmobile may not be able to make a stop at a pre-scheduled date due to maintenance issues. Check the individual schedule for hours of service.
