Artifacts & Relics: Poetry as a Medium for Telling and Preserving Personal History  [Add to My Events]
In this creative writing workshop, participants will work to support and help each other explore what it is to write a strong, compelling poem that is also personal. Through the lens of personal histories, we will read works as a community that do this type of writing successfully (and perhaps unsuccessfully) and consider how to incorporate the techniques into our own verses. Participants will approach writing as a vehicle for exploring, telling and preserving personal history.
