It is maintained mainly by the children who come to the library and participate in our Green programs. We have plants such as Acorn squash, tomatoes, blackberries, parslye, oregano, chives, ornamental peppers, and garden beans to name a few.

These are pictures from our Steinway garden. The garden is maintained by the Environmental Assistant and the kids who visit. In our garden we have: tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, squash, turnips, radish, basil, parsley and lettuce to just name a few. In addition, we have beautiful flowers and gorgeous shrubs!
