“Read
For Fun” is an interactive exhibition that makes reading exciting
for children. Sesame Street teaches children the value of reading
and gives them the basic tools to learn how to read with their parents
and teachers. The interactive components of the exhibit include computers
with CD-ROM programs, a reading corner, a “Write to Big Bird” corner, and
an arts corner where children can draw their favorite characters. Video
clips from Sesame Street episodes, photographs of the characters,
Sesame Street games and lots more will also be on display.
Parents will enjoy re-experiencing the fun of Sesame Street and
learn about its history and the
animation process used to
create the shows.
